Land Rights and Agrarian Reform

Deterioration of the land and environment will lead to disaster in future years, making it difficult to break the cycle of poverty. CDA’s program aims to promote environment-friendly villages and practices for the sustainable use of natural resources.

Focuses are on the following areas: informing of the issues and consequences, alternative practices to allow people to make a difference at grass roots level, ensuring land rights and facilitating agrarian reform, mobilisation and advocacy to demand good practices and legislation to add enforcement and deterrent.
